First world problems! TV or home theatre?

I recently started converting my garage into a home theatre and was planning on spending a nice amount on the surround sound, however in the weekend my main TV died so the budget for the home theatre now has to be split between the two and I think I'm more inclined to spend the majority on the TV. The budget was $2000 for the home theatre but I have $1000 set aside for emergencies as well.Right now and finishing today Noel Leeming has a half price Pioneer system which I'm thinking might do until I can afford to upgrade, though I am sceptical with just how cheap it is.https://www.noelleeming.co.nz/shop/home-entertainment/home-audio/home-theatre-systems/pioneer-htp072-5-1-home-theatre-package-with-hd-audio/prod174775.htmlWith the TV I should mention that I had previously talked to Sony about some sort of compensation as it was an 8 year old SXRD that had developed the cursed yellow tinge which is a known defect with these models to which they have offered me 20% off any TV off their website which I thought was better than a kick in the teeth. (The yellow tinge is unrelated to the TV dying however)Now with the TV I'm torn, I can get a really nice full HD TV that is quite big or I can get a 4K TV that is quite a fair bit smaller. I'm aware that currently there's practically no 4K content but I don't want to have to buy another TV for as long as I can.My internet is practically down at the moment so all my research is being done on my phone which I must say is becoming a PITA! Any help would be appreciated.
