15m component cable

Hi all, a while back ( 12 months ) i brought myself ( from cables direct ) a couple of 15 mtr component cables to run from my entertainment cabinet to the TV in the bedroom. I have noticed that for some reason i cant get a clear picture. The picture is very watachable but when headlines or finer text is shown this is all distorted slightly which makes it quite annoying to watch.I have also run 1 single 15 mtr HDMI cable over the same distance which runs crystal clear.I have put up with this issue purely because i have been too lazy to sort it out, but i have now had my orders to sort it.Any ideas what could be causing distortion in the picture? Would i need a booster of some kind?Have read many different forums where others have run the same lenghts or longer and dont have issues.Cable is run up the wall in a cable run, through the cieling space and back down the wall to the TV which is wall mounted. When we built our house 4 years ago i put a couple of lengths of marley rain guttering in the cieling space to use as cable runs. This sits in the middle of roof space which would make it 3 ft above any power cable that is run, so wouldnt have thought i would be getting interference.any ideas would be most appreciated.RegardsSheldon
