A couple of weeks back our bedroom LED developed a clearly defined red' line of pixels right across the screen, near the top. The colour of the line can change slightly depending on the picture but always maintains or returns to a red hue (stuck?). Small TV, rarely used, I could live with it.Today turn on my big screen plasma and low and behold, there vertically down the screen towards the right side, is another defined line this time of 'yellow' pixels. WTF!!!! Like the smaller TV set the colour of the line can change depending on the picture but definitely maintains a yellow hue. Both are well out of warranty and probably pushing it even for a CGA claim.Anyone know if this sort of thing is even worth getting inspected for repair? Google indicates likely a video driver component failure. I am not liking the sound of that at all.
