I have a Panasonic Blu-Ray Recorder Model DMR-BWT720GZ which has Viera Connect. I also have a Panasonic Blu-Ray Player Model DMP-BDT220. The BDT220 also has Viera Connect and has the availabilty of selecting either New Zealand or Australia in the setup menu of Viera Connect.However the BWT720 does not have this ability to select the country in its 'Connect' menu.On the BDT220 I have selected 'Australia' as being the country as there is a app I access which is not available within the NZ Connect apps.I am wanting to change the country on the BWT720 also so that I can select this app through the Australian Connect program, and am wanting to know how to obtain this.Under the Panasonic web site there are separate firmware updates for NZ and Australia. Can I select the 'Australia' firmware which is available on the Panasonic website instead of the NZ firmware and install that on the BWT720GZ?If I do so, will it get me the Australia 'Connect' program and not make any further changes to the setup? Or there is there more to this such as using a proxy server?
