Hi,I used to have an optical connection between the TV and my amplifier so I could watch TV programs with the sound via my surround system instead of the TV's inferior speakers.Unfortunately the little flimsy plastic doors of the Toslink receivers on both the TV and the amplifier are broken. Both Toslink receivers work optically but won't hold the plug in place, the plug simply falls out of the receiver. Terrible design to be honest.I am looking for a way to fix this. Does anyone know if those little doors can somehow be replaced or if the entire receiver needs to be replaced? Are those standard components, so could I go to say JayCar, buy 2 off-the-shelf Toslink receivers, and simply replace the ones in the TV and amplifier or do they have to be the exact type that they will replace?Any advice is welcome. Thanks, edwinov
