Bought a new Samsung (UA55MU6100SXNZ).Got it home mounted, plugged went through set-up and updated the firmware. It all went smoothly.I then went to tune to Freeview satellite - no signal Scanned again - no signal. Checked co-ax connections - no signal. checked otehr Tv on same satellite dish - working just fine. This happened to me once before and all it took was a country change to fix it. I looked at settings but couldn't see anything relating to country. I wasn't asked to specify the country during set-up.I consulted the instruction manual. No help at all. The retailer had closed by this point.Some google-fu found Freeview technical docs. Some of the LNB settings did not look correct and the satellite was not correct either. However, the correct values were not available in the menus.A bit more searching menus and I found setting called Aerial, which allowed me to select Freeview Sat. Then the correct satellite and the correct values for other settings became available. Signal strength instantly jumped to about 80.I'm surprised it was that hard. I think a less technically minded person would have been unable to tune their TV. The TV is listed as Freeview approved so shouldn't it just plug in and tune? Are consumers really expected to go into advanced menus, just to get the TV to tune?
