Wondering if anyone has a Sony TV KD-49X7000D TV and a Harmony controller.I have used Logitech remotes for many years and am conversant with their programming but have run into an annoying problem. I updated to a Harmony Companion hub based remote about a year ago and it was working fine with the TV till we changed house a month ago. Nothing was changed except location! The problem now is with the power on. It will work for a while then it won't turn on the TV. The LED shows a response but no action. Then, when eventually getting a start it will often do a reboot with the spinning rings.But the most frustrating thing is that using the Android Harmony app, I can't get my experimental power changes to stick. It was set to using two buttons power so I tried changing to one button a la the Sony remote. That took many attempts but it eventually 'took'. I also added a learned command to the hub with the Sony remote power button and set this as the power on command. Now sometimes it gets out of sync and instead of sending an on it sends an off. (Strangely, the Sony remote pwr button always turns the TV on or off correctly even if I try to get it out of sequence).Sorry for the long post but I was wondering if anyone uses the Harmony with my TV, what power settings they have and if anyone knows why I can't get changes to stick.
