Hi all, we are still using a CRT but it is showing its age. Parents have been looking at the stores. They want a 40-42" Full HD LED, don't need Smart b/c they don't know how to use the Internet. But .. how big is the difference between a 50Hz and a 100Hz model? Looking at the brochures and some web searches, the $799 is a 50Hz non Smart etc .. but to get a 100Hz model it might be $1,299 and comes with Smart 3D even thou we don't need it. From what I have seen there doesn't seem to be TVs at 100Hz without Smart. Mainly used to watch dramas, action movies etc...Advice?
