Hey there,We are happy owners of an entry level 42" Panasonic 1080p Plasma, about 4-5 years old (I believe the P42S10). Since we recently moved house, we have found that it is 'too small' as we sit further away from it and lose the immersive experience (I know, first world problems, sorry). Harvey Norman currently have a 60" LG Plasma (the 60PN6500) for $998. It's nuts, right -a 60 inch full HD plasma for less than a grand - and is very tempting. We have had our eye on the Panasonics of a similar size for a while as they are damn good TVs - the P60S60 retails for about $1500. As you are probably aware, Panasonic will no longer be making plasma in the future.My question is: Is it worth considering the 60" LG plasma for the price?I am a little concerned that I may see 'flutter' or lagging on the tv - but I do not have a trained eye, and can't see it easily on the current Panasonic. Have LG surpassed a 5 year old Panasonic, or are they still a bit average.... unlikely to spring for the extra $500 to upgrade as it is a 'nice to have' in terms of our home theatre.
