Hi Guys , Heres is what I have done ... I have copied all my dvd movies to my home NAS in the MKV file format so I can play from my nas to most devices in my house .I DO NOT like to compress video as our screens get bigger we need to maintain picture quality ! my NAS is a QNAP 212 and storage isnt a problem , I have a AC Ryan Media player which plays my MKV files how ever I do have a Sony Smart tv and Xbox 360 which I would like to use rather than having to buy lots of media players these two devices do not like MKV's so my question is this ... I'm happy to convert the MKV files into a file format that all my devices can play but Im NOT wanting to compress them down I just want to change the "container" to a format that they can all play without loss of video quality .I cant seem to find a container to convert my files too and would love any help from this forum ...... again I do not want to compress these files down as video quality is top priority ! cheersAndrew W
