Well this whole new TV thing is a bit of a learning curve. First off I didn't think I was going to be able to connect my old Sky silver box because I didn't have a SCART to Component lead, and the My Sky + box is coming tomorrow, so I wasn't going to buy one for one night's viewing. Then my aging AV amp didn't want to play, because it was too old to have HDMI inputs, but had an S/PDIV cable between amp and TV, and 'eventually' managed to find how to set it up.So my wife left to start her night shift, and I thought, 'Right. I'll try out this 3D mylarky', so connects up my admittedly not too flash Blu-ray player, and puts on Avatar, and I'm wondering what all the fuss is about. I started it again in 2D to see how different it looked, and this time stopped to read the dialog box that said my player was no good for 3D. Bugger. I didn't even know there was a difference! So can anyone recommend a half decent 3D Blu-ray player?I only have the one Blu-ray disk, but I've also noted that the current player won't play most of my DVDs, so a Blu-ray player that will do all regions would be a plus. Thanks for any advice.
